Keeping the Fire Alive in our 4th Days

Fellow Pilgrims,

Here is a space where we can continue to "walk and talk " together, encourage one another, and share the Lord's light. Please let me know if you want to make changes, add links for special groups, or brainstorms. Please feel free to post comments, or suggestions, and keep us all posted on your journeys.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do". As partners in Christ's work, I look forward to helping to communicate and share the good works that you all are doing. As for me...

The test of "peace" came immediately after leaving our walk on Sunday, when my wonderful friend and sponsor's car broke down on the way home. She had to call a tow truck, but within that experience of being "stuck on the side of the road", I got to know my friend's daughter in a most special way. Upon arriving home, I found that my husband's truck which had been towed the weekend before the walk, was going to cost $7,000.00 to fix. Even within this unfortunate news, I don't feel the anxiety that I know I would have felt before our walk. I truly feel like I left my old self on that seat that overlooked the river and the cross, and I'm now learning "to be content whatever the circumstances". I so appreciate all the agape love, the clergy team, the outside team, the team members, and fellow pilgrims, and I cling to the idea of making love a verb.

De Clores,
Debra Warren

  4. This is wonderful Debra. I would like to personally invite each one of you to visit and hear guest speaker Charlie Mahone on April 5 at Hill Country Fellowship in Burnet. He will be sharing his story at all 3 of our worship services: 8,9;30,and 11:15. Let me know if you need directions.

  5. Thanks Debra for this wonderful communication tool. I'm planning on the meeting on Monday April 6th. I can't easily make any of the reunion groups...anyone interested in an early evening weekday group? We could meet at my home in Liberty Hill.
